Meet our leaders

 Sienna Holman is the cofounder and president  of Bring Sunshine, a nonprofit rooted in her passion for giving back, empowering young people, and creating meaningful change in her community and beyond. She is also the author of Bantu’s Brave Steps, a children’s book focused on breaking social stigma and encouraging compassion and understanding in the Democratic Republic of the Congo.

Sienna is especially passionate about the intersection of technology, education, creativity, and social impact. She interned in Congressman Josh Gottheimer’s office, where she worked on topics related to artificial intelligence and emerging technology policy. At Ransom Everglades School, she founded an AI Club to give students the opportunity to explore the rapidly evolving world of artificial intelligence and its potential for innovation.

Through the University of Pennsylvania Social Innovators Program, Sienna combined her interests in education and AI to create an **executive functioning program at a local homeless shelter *, designed to help younger students strengthen skills such as organization, time management, studying, and goal-setting while thoughtfully incorporating AI as a learning tool. Her passion for education also led her to spend two summers working with Cosmic Writers, where she helped children develop their writing skills, creativity, and confidence.

Sienna has also found ways to blend her love of business and design with entrepreneurship. She helped launch the Dubai Chocolate flavor at Chameleon Coffee, gaining hands-on experience in bringing a creative product concept to life.

Giving back has always been an important part of Sienna’s life. In addition to her work with Bring Sunshine, she is involved with Symphonettes and Bake a Wish Miami, allowing her to continue supporting and connecting with her community. Whether she is writing, volunteering, exploring new technology, developing programs for young people, or pursuing creative business ideas, Sienna loves finding thoughtful and innovative ways to make a positive difference and bring a little more sunshine to the people around her.

 Hunter Holman is a student at Ransom Everglades School in Miami, Florida, with a strong passion for helping others and making a positive difference in his community and beyond. He is a co-author of Bantu’s Brave Steps, a book created to raise awareness about Ebola while sharing a story of courage, hope, and resilience in the face of the disease. Hunter is also the co-founder and Executive Director of Bring Sunshine, a nonprofit organization through which he works to give back and support others. He is passionate about using his ideas, creativity, and leadership to bring attention to important causes and create meaningful change. 

Outside of this work, Hunter is an enthusiastic athlete who enjoys basketball, football, and lacrosse, as well as spending time outdoors with his friends and family. Whether through writing, service, or teamwork, Hunter hopes to continue finding ways to help others and make a lasting positive impact. 

Sylvie Holman is a student at Ransom Everglades School, co-founder of Bring Sunshine, and co-author of Bantu’s Brave Steps. She has a passion for helping others, especially children, and enjoys finding meaningful ways to give back to her community.

Sylvie is involved with the local project Bake-A-Wish and volunteers at a women and children’s shelter. She also loves writing and using her creativity to connect with and inspire others.

Beyond her community work, Sylvie has a strong interest in math, science, and medicine and hopes to explore these fields further in the future, possibly pursuing a career where she can combine her curiosity with her desire to help others.
